Philosophy
I want to create with you.
As a photographer I enjoy capturing a moment. For me, capturing a moment between two people is what is the most important and evident in my work. Whether it be the big and impactful moments, or the ones that our memory allows to slip away. Big or small, it doesn’t matter, I love being able to preserve them.
Using photography as my medium allows me to keep everything I want in a piece, and do away with all the details that don’t need to be there. Sometimes the details are the only thing that need to be there. I love that it allows me to play with the glass, but also the light. Being able to use light to create my images is where I get a lot of my inspiration from. I love to use warm and creamy tones in my photos. The sun plays such a big part in my images, and I like to mimic the feeling that the sun gives me into my work.
For me I feel like photography is the closest thing to real life, and even though it is only a representation of what was, it has the power to bring thoughts and feelings back to the mind. Sometimes seeing an image of two lovers can remind me of my own love for those in my life. That is why I love working with couples.
When I was 14 my dad passed away, and now 13 years later I am most grateful for the photos I have of him. I hope that in decades from now you will be grateful for the investment you made in your photos.
I'M BAILEY
I am so glad you found me! I am based out of the American West and I love the desert. I have two little critters, two doodles, Banjo + Birken who are my besties. When I'm not shooting, I'm usually on a beach or in the mountains with my friends. I originally went to college to be a dental hygienist, but quickly learned that I am an artsy gal through and through. 4 years later and I still love what I do. I'm so stoked you like my work.
